Our Tennis Coaching Courses are consistently amongst our most popular programmes, so book early to avoid disappointment! Delivered by our Lawn Tennis Association coaches, led by Level 3 coach Matt Rogers and his specialist tennis coachingteam.
For the Intermediate and Advanced tennis players all strokes will be covered including backhand, forehand, volleying, serving and lobbing, with additional work on doubles and singles tactics.
For the younger tennis players they will learn through mini tennis, developing their foundation skills and building skill levels so they are able to rally in a game situation with confidence. The course finale takes the form of an ever popular competition.
During the early drop off and late pickup time, we do multi-sports.
We are pleased to announce that The Downs Preparatory School has a brand new heated indoor Swimming pool, if your child can swim unaided then they can do our optional lunchtime swim, supervised by a lifeguard and our team of coaches on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Our specialist coaches will lead the course and is suitable for all abilities.
You will need:
- Trainers, leisure wear or shorts, sun cream, t-shirt and a cap if the weather is warm
- Equipment is provided if needed, you can also bring your own tennis racket.
- Please bring a drink and a packed lunch
- Swimwear, goggles, and a towel if swimming at lunchtime in the indoor heated pool
