Summer finally seems to have arrived and we have a superb programme of courses lined up to take advantage of the long, hot days across the main Summer Holidays.

So what's new on the Pro-Coaching Website?

We gave a lot of thought to where we wanted to go with the site and we listened to feedback from you, our customers...then we made some changes. We are delighted with the result - we hope you are too.

The first and arguably most popular change is that we have dropped the registration process. You now need only enter your details at Checkout and you're done. There is an option to save your details on your computer for future use (providing you don't clear your cookies) but the login and password has been consigned to history.

Next, we have tried to make it quicker and easier to get to what you want. You should be able to get to the product you are looking for in a couple of clicks and you can now order it right off the product listing page. Those who have shopped with us before will know exactly what they are getting and so don't need reams of information; those new to the site can follow a link to obtain full details about the product or course including images, maps and directions, kit requirements and so on.

We have also introduced a short booking form to be completed as part of the process of ordering a course. This contains key details about your child and will help us to ensure that our courses remain safe and responsive to the needs of your child.

Lastly, there are a whole range of small improvements - better menuing system, more flexible discounting, links to key tasks at the top of every page, a smarter shopping basket, automatic redirection back to the shop from the shopping basket and much more.

Where has 2008 gone? Christmas is no more than a distant memory, the clocks have gone forward and there's even a spot or two of sunshine punctuating the downpours - Summer must be here!

Cricket
Perfect for cricketers for whom the season never stops! Run by some of Somerset's top coaches and with courses throughout the County, there is sure to be a course to suit all needs.

Hockey
Designed and organised by West of England and Somerset coach James Brooker and led by hugely experienced and knowledgeable elite coaches, these courses are ideal for children wanting to try a new sport as well as those looking to enhance their skills.

Netball
These excellent courses are ideal for those children looking to develop new skills as well as those looking to take existing skills to a new level. Helen Brunt's playing and coaching experience ensures that each course is a mix of skills development and fun.

Football
Run by Bristol City Football Club coach Tommy Hutchison and his experienced team, the course gives children the opportunity to try the David Beckham shooting net, the Del Piero speed gun, the Zinedine Zidane manikin challenge, the Stephen Gerrard passing competition and the penalty competition.

There's finally some heat in the sun, some pace in the wickets and even the odd game or two surviving the weather. It's therefore the ideal time to replace worn out kit, outgrown kit, or to trade up to something a little bit special.
